What is the National Science Bowl (NSB)?
The National Science Bowl is one of the largest nationwide science competitons, with nearly 10,000 students participating in the 2025 NSB competition. You can find the competition's website here. The branch leader for NSB is Catherine Xu. You can email her with any questions at caxu26@icstudents.org. The cost of participating is free for all students.

West High Biology All Team Meeting: Friday, September 19th during AFT. Those interested in science bowl should communicate so during this time. Only one team can register, so this will be a selective event.
Iowa Science Bowl Registration Opens: Monday, October 6th at 11AM CT.
West High Biology Team Wide Registration: Tuesday, October 7th during AFT.
High School Regional Science Bowl: Saturday, March 7th at Ames National Laboratory.
